Join us for an exciting DXpedition to the beautiful Kastos Island, EU-052, Greece, as we participate in the 2023 RSGB IOTA contest. The J48K team is thrilled to bring you this thrilling adventure from a unique location that promises both stunning natural beauty and an unforgettable amateur radio experience. Kastos Island is a hidden gem nestled in the central Ionian Sea, close to Ithaca. Despite its small size, with only around 15 permanent residents during the winter, the island becomes a vibrant tourist destination during the summer months. Visitors flock to Kastos for its crystal-clear waters and picturesque beaches, creating the perfect backdrop for our DXpedition. Our team will be based in a traditional off-grid stone house, situated on the southern part of the island.
